A fresh perspective.
Talk with our Boca Raton team about visible sun spots, redness and uneven tone, and whether a Prisma IPL photofacial fits your skin.

About Prisma IPL Photofacial
IPL stands for intense pulsed light. A photofacial uses broad-spectrum light to address selected pigment and vascular concerns. It differs from a laser and requires an individual skin assessment.

Contact the practiceIs IPL a laser?
No. IPL uses a range of wavelengths, while a laser uses a more specific wavelength. The technologies are selected for different concerns.
Will I need more than one session?
A series may be recommended, but the number and spacing depend on your skin and response.
What can my skin look like afterward?
Temporary redness or swelling and darkening of treated pigment may occur. Ask about expected healing and when to contact the practice.
Is IPL suitable for darker or recently tanned skin?
Do not assume suitability. Your provider should assess skin tone and recent tanning because burns and unwanted pigment changes are possible.
How much is a Prisma IPL photofacial?
Ask for current AuraMed pricing based on your treatment area and proposed series. No fixed price is assumed before your consultation.
